As the director of the Children of Tomorrow Ministry, I would like to WELCOME you.
Children of Tomorrow ministry was birth in September of 2004 after First Baptist saw a need to assist the Youth in the community with improving their fundamental knowledge in Math, Reading and English. Children of Tomorrow ministry is an after school program that targets at-risk, disadvantage children in the community.
The vision for Children of Tomorrow ministry is "A parental supported youth program for children of school age that will teach basic educational concepts, establish commitment, obtain basic foundations for critical thinking and self-esteem in a faith-based environment."
The program operates with volunteer certified teachers, students and community members. We have a close relationship with the adminstration with Ardmore City Schools and other service orgranizations in the community so as an united force we are making sure our students are achieving.
As we move forward to start our fourth year October 7, 2008, come by to observe, to encourage or to volunteer. Children of Tomorrow ministry is Tuesday and Thursday 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. We provide pick-up and drop-off service available and snacks.
As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to build someones self-esteem, self-motivation, stimulate interest, detour from the wrong path, instill confidence, improve academics and become SUCCESSFUL.
If you would like to volunteer or need to enroll your child, please contact me at 223-8886 or just drop by the business office.
May God Bless you and your Family!
